About Project

Singring and the Glass Guitar: An AR Dance Performance is an interpretation of the rock opus by Utopia classic (from their 1977 LP Ra) performed in MAGIC Spell Studios in April 2023 as part of the ImagineRIT Innovation and Creativity Festival.

The performance combined live dance with Augmented Reality, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and projections displayed on a large video wall. Each audience member viewed the performance through a Microsoft Hololens 2 device.
